Locomotive Engine Shed

This project was made over three months and is set in a western region 1950's British Railways engine shed with a GWR 4900 'Hall' Class as the main centre piece. Steam engine sheds were often seen as quite dirty and grungy with the light rays breaking through the smoke, evoking a beautifully haunting feeling which is something that I was keen to represent with my renders and I wanted to play around with both day and night-time lighting, as well as create clear, separate renders of the locomotive model itself.

Everything was modelled with Autodesk Maya, textured in Substance Painter and Photoshop and rendered with Unreal Engine 5 and Marmoset Toolbag.
